Tarishing Village – The most beautiful village of Pakistan

Situated at an altitude of around 2900 meters on southern face of Nanga Parbat, Tarishing is one of the most beautiful villages of Pakistan. It is the last jeepable point towards Rupal face of Nanga Parbat. The village has around 250 inhabitants, main language is Shina. There is no direct transport available and you have to reach Astore first and from there its a 1 1/2 hour drive, road condition after Gorikot is very bad. In July 2013, during my annual visit to Pakistan, I decided to visit Tarishing. We reached Jaglot from Pindi and from there we hired a taxi for Astore, from Astore we again hired a taxi which took us to Tarishing village after crossing Gorikot and Chorat village. Journey from Astore to Tarishing is memorable, due to the stunning views I would call it a life time experience.

There are two hotels in the village which are Nanga Parbat and Rupal Hotel, we stayed at the Rupal Hotel. If you ever dreamed about counting stars at night than Tarishing is the perfect spot for making this dream true.

Best time to visit Tarishing  Valley is between July to September. Weather is cold in the evenings in summer and it gets intolerable in winter (around -20C). You may also consider visiting Fairy Meadows and then trek to the other side of Nanga Parbat base camp.

Kindly advise options for overnight stay if travelling next day to Deosai, in terms of good scenic beauty and better hotel accommodations, Tarishing or Gorikot?
    Regards, Zia

    Hi Zia,
It should be either Tarishing or Astore if not Rama. If you want better views its Tarishing but then you will need to leave early in the morning.

There were two very basic hotels in Tarishing, I stayed in Rupal Hotel. It was fine but don’t expect five star facilities.
Contact numbers of Rupal Hotel are 03435352646 and 03134330402.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you
relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your blog when you
could be giving us something informative to read?

Hi there, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was
just curious if you get a lot of spam feedback? If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can recommend?
I get so much lately it’s driving me insane so any assistance is
    very much appreciated.

Hi! I could have sworn I’ve visited this web site before
but after going through some of the articles I realized it’s new to
me. Anyways, I’m definitely delighted I stumbled upon it and I’ll
be book-marking it and checking back regularly!

The other day, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple
ipad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop,
just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she
has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
