What are the northern places of Pakistan like, or what do you know of it?

I have been to Northern Areas of Pakistan almost ten times and I must tell you that every village and valley has its own beauty. You can’t miss Baltit (Karimabad, Hunza) and you can’t miss the sunset at Altit (Duiker village).

While Gulmit and Ghulkin are amazing, Passu and Khyber village are just fabulous. And you can explorer the hidden paradise named Chopurson valley from Sost and later visit the world’s highest international border crossing Khunjerab.

Pakistan is gifted with nine out of 14 highest peaks of the world, the most beautiful one is Nanga Parbat, The Killer Mountain. At the Raikot bridge, you can turn right and visit Fairy Meadows and walk to the base camp of Nanga Parbat.

After that, we can visit Astore and reach Tarishing – The most beautiful village of Pakistan. Next day, cross the Rupal village and walk to other side of Nanga Parbat base camp (also called as Rupal face).

You will need some more time to visit Skardu and see the breathtaking Satpara lake and then the majestic Deosai plains. My favorite village near Skardu is Kachura village which is named after the famous Kachura lake. There is also a beautiful town called Khaplu.

I don’t know if I have named all the places I have been to and still I have a lot left to explore (Shimshal, Minapin, Askole and a lot more). I am posting some of the pictures that I have taken over the years.Khunjerab-National-Park
